BSL Bible translation update

The BSL Bible Translation Project has just received £30,000 from Spring Harvest Charitable Trust!

This money comes from people’s offerings at the Spring Harvest event during Easter this year where Bible translation projects worldwide were advertised.  This is a fantastic gift for us!  We will use the money to employ a person to work as a Strategic Development Officer for the next year, to help us develop and publicise the Project.  This person will be responsible for increasing our contact with the Deaf community and Church community and building on our network of paid translation workers and volunteers.  Translation work continues and teams have now worked on Chapters 1 to 6 of Mark’s gospel.  These chapters need to be filmed so they can be sent out to people to give us feedback and for our consultants to make comments.
