The Bijbel NGT workgroup desires to produce a translation of the Bible in Dutch Sign Language. In order to form a translation team we need skilled and motivated translators. A "Bible translation weekend" is being organized for 25-27 June 2010. During this informational weekend two experienced members of the BSL Bible Translation team will guide us in practicing translations and information will be given about the process of creating a good translation of the Bible in sign language.

By the end of the weekend you will have a clear picture of the process of Bible translation and the next steps in selecting candidates for the translation team. You will have the opportunity to consider eventual participation in this inportant translation work in the Netherlands

Start: Friday 25 June 2010 between 5 and 6 p.m.
End: Sunday 27 jJune 2010 around 2:30 p.m.
The languages used during the weekend will be Dutch Sign Language and International Sign. If necesary these languages will be translated into English.
If it is impossible for you to attend for the entire weekend, you can register for just the Saturday sessions. The Saturday sessions will begin at 9:30 a.m. (doors open at 9:00) and end approximately 9:00 p.m.
Costs: € 50 per person (including weekend accommodations and all meals)
€ 40 per person (Saturday only, including lunch and dinner)
